The Intolerant Foodies
We LOVE wheat. Neither of us can eat it.
Jen's intolerant of wheat and processed sugars, and sometimes corn. She gets run down and ill, among other things if she eats them.
Beth's allergic to almost everything that makes life worth living: Casein, wheat, eggs, dairy, garlic, almonds, cane sugar, kidney beans... When she eats them she gets muscle cramps and debilitating migraines depending on how much was in the food.
Jen's doctor took one look at her and knew she had issues with Gluten. Beth's diagnosis was through a 200-allergen blood test.
Beth has always been an avid baker. Jen was a cook at a fancy restaurant. Both have worked at garden shops and went to school in Seattle, Ft. Collins, and Boulder. Now they live in a tiny mountain town west of Colorado Springs. We're artists, writers, philosophers, hikers, day-dreamers, and foodies..ahem, intolerant foodies.
